A little about us
Every Sunday, my Nonna would cook a dinner for our family—sometimes artichokes, mostly pasta and always the best Valrhona chocolate soufflé you’d ever had.
At some point during the meal Nonna would ask us, “So...is this a keeper?” and more often than not, the answer was a universal, “Yes!”

Owner + Founder, Alex Wendkos
Hi! I’m Alex, founder of Seconds, a dinner party shop born from a decade in restaurants and a love for bringing people together around good food and a great vibe.
I got my start throwing parties at Dino’s, a dive bar I took over (10 years ago!), where casual hangs had a way of turning into unforgettable nights. Seconds is built on that spirit. I fell in love with all of the little details that turn a couple of hours into lasting memories.
This is a shop for anyone who loves hosting or just bringing friends together — whether it’s your place, theirs, or anywhere in between. Every Seconds Count, so make the next one memorable.
